fairly uniform, in fact contains a wide
range of different types of scenery.
This is a mysterious, secretive and unspoilt area with its own special
type of beauty and silence that you can soak up, an area full of
history where the protective aura of the Carthusian priests has
been shining out for nearly 10 centuries, and where men having been
composing a harmonious and eternal symphony with nature, a hymn
to its glories...

With more than 1,000 km of way marked paths, a wide variety of
outings are available to you, whether it be on foot,
on snowshoes, on a bicycle, on horseback or even with some donkeys
carrying packsaddles.
